Hana Kim + Leanna Lin at the Doggie Wonderland art opening event!

Los Angeles, CA (September 1, 2015) – Leanna Lin’s Wonderland and Supahcute are proud to announce an exciting new partnership. Leanna Lin’s Wonderland has appointed Hana Kim, founder of Supahcute, as its new Art Curator. In this role, Hana will curate all group exhibitions starting in January 2016. Six group exhibitions are scheduled for next year.
Hana has been a guest curator at Leanna Lin’s Wonderland since 2012. Her latest group exhibition – Small Adventures “A Serious and Silly Tribute to Maurice Sendak and Shel Silverstein” – will open on September 12, 2015.
“Hana has supported Leanna Lin’s Wonderland from the beginning with my first art show, The Lucky Show. I feel blessed to be working with her supahcute-ness and am excited to officially have her as part of the team!” said Leanna.
In conjunction with their new partnership, Leanna and Hana will launch a new fundraising initiative. Starting with the first group exhibition of 2016, a portion of proceeds from each show will be donated to a local charity or nonprofit organization. Each group exhibition will spotlight a different local nonprofit organization.
“Our previous art fundraisers, Doggie Wonderland and Wonderland Art for Animals, were so successful that we wanted to give back throughout the year,” said Hana. “We have committed to donating at least 5% of proceeds from each show.”
Hana will assume her role as Art Curator, effective September 1, 2015. The schedule of 2016 exhibitions at Leanna Lin’s Wonderland will be announced later this year. Artists may submit their portfolios for consideration to curator@supahcute.com.
