WORD/PLAY LAMQG ART SHOW

The members of the Los Angeles Modern Quilt Guild (LAMQG) present “WORD/play”, a mini quilt art show that explores and expresses the impact words have on oneself, the community, and the wider world! This annual mini quilt art show helps support the guild's equity fund and programming, which provides public access to guest speakers, workshops, and education on the art of quilting.
Join us on Saturday, June 6th from 3-6pm for the opening event with LAMQG members, families, friends, customers, and the broader community! We'll have crafty conversations, complimentary drinks & treats! You are invited!
SHOW RUN: June 6 - July 11, 2026
The art collection will be available online after the opening event! For questions and/or inquiries please email orders@leannalinswonderland.com
ABOUT LAMQG:
Much of the public is only familiar with traditional, bed sizes, or Amish quilts. Overall, LAMQG aims to broaden the experience one might have with quilting, to include modern, joyful, and aesthetically pleasing pieces of fiber art. All proceeds go directly to the programming costs and equity fund for LAMQG, allowing affordable and equitable learning and advancements of the Modern Quilting movement. The exhibit is coordinated and curated by Leasa Eisele, the Vice President of LAMQG. The Los Angeles Modern Quilt Guild is a non-profit organization that promotes and supports fiber art/quilting. It was founded in 2009 and is the flagship guild of the International Modern Quilt Guild.
50% of the art sales will be donated to LAMQG for their equity program.
