Join us for a beautiful Cosmic Pop-Up at Leanna Lin's Wonderland on Saturday, March 15th from 7-9pm. This special event features local interdisciplinary artist + author, Yumi Sakugawa, and her latest release "Cosmic Comfort" ~ a deck of 50 Tender Affirmations and Grounding Meditations from the Universe. At the event, Yumi will lead a meditation followed by a Q&A, affirmation readings, and deck/book signings. We will also have a selection of books and decks available for purchase at the event.
The event will also feature Aura Photography and Aura Readings by Monika from Cosmic Hour. Please pre-book your session online as there are limited spaces available! —Aura readings are done using intuitive perception along with a unique camera called the ‘Aura Cam 6000’ to give a comprehensive insight into your emotional-energetic/spiritual state of being and help you gain spiritual awareness.
ABOUT YUMI SAKUGAWA:
Yumi Sakugawa (shey/they) is a second-generation Japanese-Okinawan-American interdisciplinary artist and the author of several books including I Think I'm in Friend-Love with You, Your Illustrated Guide to Becoming One with The Universe, The Little Book of Life Hacks, and There is No Right Way to Meditate. Yumi's comics have appeared in The New Yorker, The Believer, Bitch, The Best American NonRequired Reading 2014, The Rumpus, and other publications. Her multimedia art installations have been exhibited at the Smithsonian Arts & Industries Building, the Japanese American National Museum, and the Peabody Essex Museum. A graduate from the fine art program of University of California, Los Angeles, she currently lives in Los Angeles.
