HOLIDAY ARTIST POP-UP WITH MARTIN HSU + MISS MINDY!

Join talented artists friends, Martin Hsu and Miss Mindy, for a pre-DesignerCon hang out at Leanna Lin's Wonderland. Relax, have some drinks + treats, and hang out with the artists while you get some holiday gift shopping done!
Martin Hsu will be releasing some exclusive pop-up prints ~ Bacchus Purrington, Ginkgo Jackalope and a Ruby Gloom print titled Nightmare in Gloomsville. He will also have prints of Ghibli x Star Wars mashups and lots of cats, along with bringing DCon exclusive custom figures and small originals like Ra'bun'zel, Cheshire Lucky Cat, and Boba Mermaid.
Miss Mindy will be signing up her collectible vinyls and resins from the vault, along with prints and creating sweet drawings on vintage sketch cards (watch her do live drawing too). Plus, for every Miss Mindy purchase you'll get a FREE Cotton Candy Mermaid Ornament too!
ABOUT MARTIN HSU:
Martin Hsu is an Asian American artist living and working in San Francisco. He fell in love with drawing at his grandparents' house while growing up in Taiwan. He graduated with a B.F.A. in Animation from California State University in Fullerton, and worked professionally as a character designer for Nickelodeon and Disney TV Animation. Martin’s original artwork has been shown all around the world, including Young Art Taipei in Taiwan, Asia Contemporary in Hong Kong, Hello Kitty Anniversary Exhibition at the Japanese American National Museum in Los Angeles, Disney’s WonderGround Gallery, and on the Google campus.
ABOUT MISS MINDY:
The whimsical artist Miss Mindy creates ‘Cartoon Folk Art’ in her home studio in Eagle Rock, CA. Her creations range from fluid line work and hand-crafted dimensional ‘Pop UP’ paintings to custom toys and sculptures. She’s gained immense notoriety for her custom toys and one of a kind sculptures, including the work she’s done with Disney Parks for over a decade. Mindy continues to paint commissions for her private collectors whilst character designing, art directing, and creating experimental cartoons and design for animation studios. Look out for some super secret projects from this special artist in 2024!
