Leanna Lin's Wonderland has been in business for 15 years. We are constantly changing with the times, along with keep things fun, fresh and relevant. Wonderland is a small team (we wear many hats) and considered family. Meet the Wonderland Team!
Syd started in Sept 2025 and we are happy to have them part of the team!
*Sophie is always a part of Wonderland, by default, since she was assisting us behind the counter at her family's (CJ Metzger & Miss Mindy) art events since she was 7 years old!
Leanna (she/her): Lady Boss, Shop Owner, Creative Director, Curator, Buyer, and Founder of We Heart Eagle Rock.
Born and raised in Glendale, just next door, Leanna graduated from LACHSA (Visual Arts) and FIT in NY with a Fashion Design degree. Leanna has a passion for fashion, the arts and animals. She also loves giving back to her own community of Eagle Rock, where she lives with her husband and 2 pups. When Leanna is not at Wonderland, you can find her soaking in all of the diversity that Los Angeles has to offer from the variety of food, art (loves street art), and nature. Leanna also loves dancing and ice cream too!
Her favorite things at Wonderland are fun blind boxes (surprise), art by Naoshi, and the diverse selection of kids books.
Olivia (she/her/they/them): Content Assistant (website + marketing) and Wonderland Sales!
Olivia graduated from CSULA in 2022 with a Bachelor's of Art's in Communication and has been at Wonderland since Fall of 2019! When not at the shop, Olivia is walking dogs around Eagle Rock or getting delicious food at some of the great local restaurants in Los Angeles (looking at you Joy on York!). Olivia loves writing, cooking, rock climbing, and all kinds of music.
Her favorite things at Wonderland are the fun mugs, stickers, and Liz Climo's super sweet books!
Syd (he/she/they): Gallery Assistant, Window Installations, TikTok manager, and Wonderland Sales!
In 2021, Syd moved from Memphis, Tennessee to Eagle Rock to study music at Occidental College. He originally discovered Leanna Lin’s Wonderland through a brief but extreme obsession with Paddywax candles. He fell in love with the store and became a regular, joining the team just a few months after his graduation in 2025! Syd loves taking in the art at Wonderland and being inspired by all the creativity on display. Outside the shop, you can find Syd writing and singing songs, crocheting adorable stuffies and accessories, and exploring the local Eagle Rock community!
His favorite things at Wonderland are Mae Mei’s vintage collections, all the cute stationery, and of course, Paddywax candles.
Mae Mei (she/her): Shop Mama, Vintage Buyer + Wonderland Sales!
Born and raised in South Central Los Angeles, an art design major from UCLA, Mae Mei appreciates art and fashion. She's enjoying retired life ~ especially exploring small towns, flea markets, gardens, beaches, museums, and art galleries. Mae Mei also enjoys gardening, reading, live theater, and family time! Her favorite things at Wonderland are all of the original art, children's books, DIY activity kits and of course, loves all of the vintage!
Luis (he/him): Branding, Graphic Designer, Tech + Events Photographer!
Also a Native Angelino, born and raised in East LA, Louie is an Art Center graduate and developed the branding for Leanna Lin's Wonderland and We Heart Eagle Rock. He also designs all of the art show + event posters, websites, and more! Louie makes an appearance at the shop for events too ~ find him behind the camera and helping out with any tech issues. Louie enjoys testing out all of the latest eateries and discovering new music, especially watching live shows all around town!
His favorite things at Wonderland are Smiski, artist tees, and fun socks!
