Vidiots Foundation
Vidiots Foundation, the iconic L.A. video store-turned-film non-profit, is a one-of-kind hub for film lovers, filmmakers, and everyone curious about cinema. Vidiots is dedicated to inspiring human interaction around film through preserving, growing, and providing access to its diverse DVD, BluRay, and rare VHS collection, showcasing the work of emerging and master artists, and producing unique film events and vital education programs. Vidiots was founded in 1985, and will be relaunching at the historic Eagle Theatre in Eagle Rock in 2021. At its new home, Vidiots will independently operate a 250-seat state-of-the-art movie theater, flexible screening and event spaces, a beer + wine bar, and, of course, the video store and its 50,000-title film and media collection.

In Eagle Rock, Vidiots will have the rare opportunity to rehabilitate one of L.A.'s landmark movie theaters, and connect with audiences all over L.A.'s "East Side," who have long been missing an independent, art house, community-driven movie theater. Founded and helmed by women, Vidiots Foundation's expansion at the Eagle will allow the organization to greatly expand its mission, and increase its impact and connectivity to audiences.
