About Miranda Dressler:
Show co-curator Miranda Dressler is a LA illustrator working in animation (Disney, Cartoon Network, Fox) and product design. She's been drawing dogs instead of doing her homework since she could hold a pencil and loves making animal inspired artwork. Miranda has a big fluffy white dog but wishes she could adopt every dog in need: which is why she's so happy to raise donations for a great cause through this show. Check her out on Instagram! @mirandaright

About Leanna Lin:
Show co-curator Leanna owns a playful gift shop and art gallery, Leanna Lin's Wonderland, where the show will be exhibited! After losing their first pup Richy, she became more aware of the homeless animal situation in L.A. and now has 3 rescue dogs.

About Home Dog LA:
Home Dog LA believes that every family deserves to keep their beloved pets, even when they come across hard times. Their mission is to prevent economically stressed families of North Central Los Angeles from surrendering their pets to the shelter by presenting them with alternative options. They offer access to resources, education, and information, all designed to help keep pets in their homes. Ultimately, they hope their work makes the community a more compassionate place to live.

We are honoring our Wonderpet Nixon (aka Nixy) in this Wonderpets art show. Nixon was adopted on Dec. 11, 2011 and passed away on March 27, 2019. He was our beloved angel that had such a big personality. Nixy taught us so much about unconditional love for animals and how each one is unique in their own way. He opened our eyes about shelter and rescue dogs and we will continue doing what we can to help.

By supporting the Wonderpets art show, you will be honoring Nixy. We'll be donating 20% to Home Dog L.A. If you'd like to donate directly to Home Dog L.A., please make a note in the comments: "Nixy the Wonderpet"
