ABOUT THE SHOW!
At the core of every Horrible Adorable faux taxidermy wall mount is a simple form that can be transformed into an array of different creatures. For Horrible Adorables and Friends, an invitation was extended to a select group of talented artists, challenging them to reimagine these shapes into entirely new works of art. Each artist, chosen for their distinctive vision and sculptural style, will contribute a unique piece of art to a diverse ‘trophy wall’ of creativity.

This exhibition aims to promote a spirit of collaboration by aligning a vibrant artist community around a shared form. Horrible Adorables will highlight the theme of friendship with their contribution and present a special collection of multi-headed wall mounts celebrating the idea that two (or more) heads are indeed better than one!

ABOUT HORRIBLE ADORABLES:
Jordan Perme and Chris Lees are a wife and husband team from Cleveland, Ohio. They are better known by their artist identity and company brand, Horrible Adorables. Together, they conjure up a menagerie of soft sculptures, designer toys, and illustrations that are not mere objects; but a cast of curious characters with unique personalities that each tell their own story. Their love of monsters, fairy tales, taxidermy, patterns, and oddities have directly influenced their bright and whimsical style of work that tends to have a dark undertone. Horrible Adorables is a celebration of the strange, the charming, and the utterly delightful. It's a reminder that in a world filled with ordinary, there is magic to be found in the extraordinary.
