*** This felted brooch is made to commemorate one of my guardian alpaca, who watches over my small herd of fiber goats. To sit on your shirt and provide luck and protection just like my alpaca do for my goats. The alpaca is needle felted with all natural fibers on a flexible armature, using alpaca fiber from my black alpaca LoJack. When you’re not wearing your alpaca brooch, it can hang out on the background of hand dyed mohair curls and sheep wool from Horsefeather Ranch, the farm where I purchased my first four goats. Twice a year I shear my goats, and the goat figures themselves are made from natural fiber from my goats Merida, Gretel and Freya.
